As I continue on my leatherwork journey, I’m always looking for ways to improve and simplify leather working for the students, which is why I started to make a small collection of leatherwork tools and accessories that are produced here in the UK, not far from the workshop.
The Corner Cutting Stencils makes cutting curves and corners a whole lot easier. I use them with a pairing knife to cut the leather, which gives a nice clean finish and the different radius’s give plenty of choice for a variety of projects. There is a stainless steel versionin 1.5 mmm and an MDF wood version in 6mm, depending on your preference.
These Belt/Strap End Templates are an easy way to achieve precision and consistency every time, in terms of hole spacing and end finish. Made out of clear acrylic, the bundle contains 15 templates in total.
There are three widths, 1″, 1.25”, 1.5”. 1.75” and 2” and three different styles – English point, round end and square end, to enable you to create belts and/or straps.
The Tool Tidy is a labour of love – I really just wanted a toolholder that would accommodate all the tools I use regularly and keep them upright. This does the job nicely – designed to hold a core set of leather working tools from small chisels to larger mauls., It features three different size holes and accommodates approximately 59 tools.
