COURSES AND EXPERIENCES
Do I need any previous experience to attend?
No prior experience is needed. Our workshops are perfect for complete beginners and those looking to refine existing skills.
Will I take home something I’ve made?
Yes! You’ll leave with a completed leather piece that you’ve hand-stitched yourself.
Do you teach machine stitching?
No, our focus is on traditional hand-stitching using the saddle stitch method—durable, strong, and beautifully crafted.
Can I return for more advanced learning?
Absolutely. Many of our students return for advanced and project-focused workshops to further develop their skills.
BOOKING & POLICIES
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes. If you give us at least 7 days’ notice, we’ll work with you to reschedule or process a cancellation. Full details are on our booking policy page.
Can I book a private group session?
Definitely! We offer bespoke group bookings for birthdays, team-building events, or creative gatherings. Just get in touch and we’ll tailor it to you.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, we do. Gift vouchers are a popular option and can be used toward any of our workshops.
Are your courses suitable for children?
Our main workshops are aimed at adults, but we occasionally run special sessions for children aged 7+. Contact us for details.
TOOLS & MATERIALS
Is your leather ethically sourced?
Yes. We use premium vegetable-tanned leather from reputable suppliers focused on ethical and sustainable practices.
Do you sell leather or tools separately?
No I dont sell tools but i supply a list of all the tools used on the course and where to buy them from.
What’s the difference between vegetable-tanned and chrome-tanned leather?
Vegetable-tanned leather is tanned using natural plant extracts. It’s more eco-friendly and perfect for hand stitching, embossing, and ageing beautifully.
WORKSHOP INFO
What time do the workshops start and finish?
Most day courses run from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. We’ll confirm all times in your welcome email.
How many people are on each course?
I keep group sizes small—usually between 1 to 4 people—to ensure plenty of personal attention.
Is lunch provided?
We provide lunch, tea, coffee, and biscuits throughout the day. If you have specific dietary requirements Please bring your own lunch, or call me so i can make necessary arrangements .
How can I keep practicing after the course?
I will guide you on where to buy leather and tools, and we’re always happy to help via email if you need advice after your course.
